I recommend reading the new World of Interiors featuring Olympia Le-Tan's cute (not twee!) showroom in Paris.
Olympia is an embroider and a fashion designer whose father is a reknown illustrator. Not only he has created her logo, he has "illustrated" her walls and created 50's inspired fabrics for her collection. When the word vintage has taken a turn for the worse, Le-Tan has been able to surf the wave without drowning. Inspired, fresh and totally original.
